Please read this post if you want to waste your time.

Hi friends,

Lately I've been feeling quite reflective. Thinking a lot about life, religion, people and the universe. People believe to think about such things is weird, unorthodox, unhealthy. And in a way they are not wrong; When you've got things like bread, jobs, education to worry about it is foolish to waste time pondering about life, religion and the universe.

But then to quote my grandfather,'Roti tou kutta ve khanda aye.' (Even the dog eats bread), there must be something behind our creation, our existence. Nothing exists without a cause. What's our cause?

I disagree with many norms of this world. For instance, I do not agree with the world's definition of education. What they call education, is all about getting degrees, grades and jobs. It's all about learning how to be a good slave. I believe that there is a huge difference between information and education. We are getting information, not education. And most of us confuse information with education.

I know I'm incoherent. Kiya karoon yaar.

I completely agree with you on the bit you said about education. after all, have we even questioned why we are learning the things that we are? WHO sets the textbooks and syllabi around the world? what kind of filters does knowledge go through in order to be "appropriate" enough for us to learn? education is indeed just information handed over to us by the elite, making it easier for us to be slaves of the system, to be controlled. this is also why people who think out of the box are considered weird or conspiracy nuts.

I don't think thinking about religion and life is wrong. Because if we don't, there would be no difference between animals and us. Recently i started to think about what i am doing in my life as well and what my religion expects me to do. It's scary of how away i am from the religion.

Absolutely. Our aim is not to run for degrees or certificates. Our aim should to acquire knowledge and use it for the benefit of people rather misusing it and making this world a place as hell.

I am really touched by the words, I guess you were inflicted by the "Introspection bug lately". That's what the post conveys, a thumbs up on your views. I think, things need to be turned the way you want them to be with all your heart & soul. All the best for the soul-surfing phenomena that's going on in your head. Yeah there's a huge gap between real education & the so-called education running these days. I wish we could alter the world in a place knowledge would never take a back-seat but education might. All the best :) Take care!

religion and education do make you human. ofcourse because roti tey kutta vi khanda aey..
degrees and certificate make you more pompous than civilized this is where religion steps in. thinking about religion in ways that might not seem right is in fact pretty healthy.
you made perfect sense by the way.

God created nothing without a purpose. Everything has to run its course and a meaning. Nothing is useless. Well, you can achieve nothing without education so we HAVE to study. Good post.
